The Story of Belvedere
In 2005 Cobus and Karen Venter relocated from Johannesburg to take over the cattle farm from Karen’s parents and to raise their 3 sons in a rural environment. The love for nature, wild game and the tourism industry quickly set the path away from traditional cattle farming into game farming. They developed the property and business into a well diversified and sustainable enterprise. Belvedere was rewarded the Kwazulu Natal Game Rancher of the year award in 2019 and is rated by it’s guests an exceptional 9.8 on Bookings.com.
